The SW BA 622 5-axis machining centre from Schw?bische Werkzeugmaschinen (SW) is designed for high-precision and efficient machining of complex workpieces. It has two horizontally arranged work spindles with a spindle distance of 600 mm. This enables the simultaneous machining of two workpieces, which significantly increases productivity.
Each of the two spindles works with an NC rotary table integrated into the swivelling bridge, which enables precise 5-axis machining. A special feature of the machine on offer here is the two independent Z-axes, which allow the machining processes to be customised for each workpiece.
In addition, the SW BA 622 has a turning unit which enables the machine to be loaded with workpieces in parallel to the machining process.
