The Axon LU 620 is a versatile 5-axis machine, ideal for the efficient production of complex parts in a single set-up.

Whether it is machining from five sides or tackling challenging geometries that require 5-axis interpolation, the Axon LU 620 is perfectly equipped for today's machining requirements.

The machine concept enables simultaneous 5-axis machining of workpieces or machining from five sides using the integrated hydraulic axis brakes (with axis clamping torques of up to 4,410 Nm).

The work table is equipped with a face plate with a diameter of 500 mm. The swivelling bridge mounted in the counter journal enables the machining of workpieces weighing up to 300 kg.

The swivelling axis makes it possible to machine complex parts, as the table has a swivelling range of up to +50? / -110?.

The controls include Heidenhain iTNC 640 and Siemens 840D, which enable extremely fast calculation for 5-axis simultaneous milling.
