Description
Blum Laser (tool measurement): Enables automatic and highly accurate measurement of the tool length and diameter directly in the machine. This reduces errors caused by tool wear and improves machining quality.
Infrared measuring probe (workpiece measurement): Used for high-precision detection of the workpiece position and for checking machining deviations, which enables continuous quality monitoring.
Kinematic Opt (automatic kinematic measurement): This system automatically calibrates the machine's rotary axes (A and B axes of the swivelling rotary table) to ensure maximum accuracy and repeatability.
Internal coolant supply: Supplies coolant to the tool directly through the spindle, ensuring optimum cooling and chip evacuation.
Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL): Enables environmentally friendly and economical machining with minimum lubricant consumption.
Blown air next to and through the spindle: Supports chip evacuation and improves cooling, especially during dry machining.
High precision thanks to active cooling and direct position measuring systems: To ensure maximum precision and thermal stability, the machine is equipped with an active cooling system for the swivelling rotary table, the spindle and the Z-axis. This minimises temperature-related deformations and ensures constant dimensional accuracy. In addition, direct path measuring systems in the form of glass scales ensure maximum positioning accuracy and reliable repeatability of the machining results.
